(1) On the Style and format editor (F11), use the second button on the top toolbar (character styles), then right click on any black space on the list of styles and select 'New'. Your new style should be in one of the Subcategories (Character, Pharagraph.) depending on what you have choosen. Then click on the 'Modify' button and you should be able to see the shortcut has been assigned to your style. However, it will probably change the format, size, or font when you use it, and that is pretty disappointing. I hope someone find a better solution, and he's very wellcome to post here!
